The Degenerate's Digest v.20

20 of these things? Wow. The Digest can almost have a legal beer. And with all the money we've collected through the Digest? Shit - might as well open up a brewery. I have a golf outing early tomorrow morning and I'm writing this at 10:40pm Friday night as I watch Marshall lose me money against Middle Tennessee and the Red Sox start to blow it after taking out Chris Sale way too early. Long story short, listen to the podcast - my picks are here but I am NOT doing long descriptions this week. Say what you will - but I am looking at this as more of a slump busted for the Digest. Less reading, less eye strain, less brain usage, more zen. That's the equation, clear as day. If you don't get it, you don't belong.

(5) LSU @ (22) Florida: LSU -2.5

What the fuck is this line? Vegas clearly doesn't read the Digest... or do they? If the Tigers offense scores on the first drive of this game, it's over. If Coach O doesn't cover this game... then the bond is set in stone - if you're not sure what that means, listen to the damn podcast.

Iowa State @ (25) Oklahoma State: Over 55.5

I said it on the pod - #MortalLock of the week. Oklahoma State is going to score on their first drive. This will force the cyclones to put up points, and regardless of their 17 total points scored per game average this season - they will still be able to assist with the over. This same matchup had a total of 91 points scored last season. This line doesn't scare me.

(10) Washington @ UCLA: UCLA +21

Wayyyyyy too many points at home, listen - I get it. This is the exact opposite of what I said we should be doing with lines like this. But something tells me while UCLA will still lose this game, they won't lose by 21. 28, 24, 22. If you don't know what those numbers mean - listen to the podcast. They are extremely important when looking at this spread. Fuck Washington, fuck Chip Kelly, but most importantly - fuck Vegas. Give me those points!

Boston College @ (23) NC State: NC State -6.5

Not only is it just obvious that the line for an undefeated wolf pack at home should be -7 minimum, but am I the only one who saw a decent portion of the Temple/BC game last weekend? Boston College stinks, and the NC State defense is up there with the best of them. This is such an easy call I could make it with dial up. Take the home team.

Arizona State @ (21) Colorado: Colorado -2.5

Another line that just makes zero sense this weekend. Two words for this Buffalo squad thats makes this outcome an obvious answer. Thin air. You think that shit is the same in the desert? Quite the opposite. You want another two words? Fine, Laviscus Shenault. Quite possibly the best WR in CFB. I love Herm and the Sun Devil's but... I just don't see them being able to compete with the high octane offense the Buffalos bring especially under the lights at home on the mountain.
