That’s right baby. Joey Digest is BACK for the third season of the Degenerate’s Digest. Bringing you all things degenerate about college football. Unders, total touchdowns scored by Laviska Shenault Jr., props on Notre Dame blowing it late in the season. It’s all coming to you every Saturday morning for the next couple of months. It’s the best time of the year.

For all you returning degenerate’s, welcome back. I’m sure you lost all the money I made you last year on NBA playoff overs and women’s world cup goal props. But that’s fine. That’s exactly what us degenerate’s do. It’s my job to make sure I turn that last $20 of yours into thousands come January. Don’t want to follow my lead? Keep selling that bush weed out of your mom’s basement. Joey Digest don’t have time for flakes (shout out Head and Shoulders).

Degenerate’s. Grab a natty, login to your FanDuel account, and get ready for another great season of college football.

Miami vs. (8) Florida: Under 46.5, Florida 2nd Half Point Spread

I’m giving out a couple bets here, but really, they are one for the winnings of two. Let me explain….

Florida has some power. They have a really great backfield that will make some noise around the league this season in Lamical Perine and Malik Davis. The problem here is the offensive line. As much power as they were able to produce last season, they lost 4 of their starters this offseason. Not saying the next men up won’t be able to ultimately produce similar results, but it might take a little bit to get in the rhythm of live action.

Miami officially enters the Manny Diaz era. They have a fairly open schedule. No Clemson, and Virginia/Virginia Tech both being home games. Beat Florida and they automatically become the hottest team in college football. The only hype about the team that carries over from last season is the defense. They are still pretty sturdy, especially the secondary (turnover chain 3.0 will be revealed at some point in this game). They will do their part to start in the heat (it’s supposed to feel like 100 degrees with the humidity at kickoff), but will slow down as the game goes on.

And so this brings us to the bets. I almost want to take the first half under 22.5, but am fearful that we could have a total of 24 going into the locker room. So, if any of your local bookies will take 24.5, take the under. As for the total score – I see one team making it into the 20’s, and the other making it into the high teens. Florida is going to crank it up after the close first half to show Manny Diaz that it won’t be that easy. So while most books don't have lines open for that yet, when you're taking your halftime deuce - put some cash on the Gators 2nd half spread.

Final Score: Florida 24, Miami 16

Arizona @ Hawaii: Arizona -11, Over 73.5

Fireworks for late night kickoff. They are coming from both sides. It’s going to be an electric atmosphere at Aloha Stadium and the Rainbow Warriors are not going to back down from a challenge.

Khalil Tate is a monster, he is even included in some way-too-early Heisman conversations (yet very unlikely +7500). He is going to be balling, and the Rainbow Warriors are only going to have one answer for him. Keep him off the field.

Hawaii is going to need to quickly get their tremendous passing offense in line early if they want to duke it out with the Wildcats. And they will. Cedric Byrd, Jared Smart, Jason-Matthews Sharsh, and Jo Jo Ward are all going to see some good action tonight. While it won’t be enough to ultimately stop Khalil Tate from getting his first ‘W’ of the season, it will make for a hell of an entertaining start to the college football season for both programs.

Final Score: Arizona 45, Hawaii 31
