The Degenerate's Digest v.33

I know I’m a man of the people. I make you money week in and week out. A modern patriot some would say. You can thank me later. Another tag people would put on me is ‘under’. I love unders. Defense wins championships, everyone knows that. Oh sorry, you wanted to see touchdowns today? Get over it. However, I’m able to respect offense when I know the offense is going to work. Today is that day. Probably the best slate of games this season, the entertainment will be set to satisfy.

Note from the editor/author/publisher: I was at a wedding last night so I’m on a different vibe this morning. Not an excuse for picks (they’re all winners), but an excuse for a lack of description and a late post. Deal with it. I’m paying your bills.

(6) Oklahoma @ (11) Texas: Texas +10.5

It’s the Red River Rivalry (fuck that new ‘Showdown’ title). Will it be a shootout? Yes. Will Texas need to have a strong defensive effort? Yes. At home in probably their biggest game this season? Sam Ehlinger to the moon.

Final Score: Oklahoma 42, Texas 35

(1) Alabama @ (24) Texas A&M: Alabama -17

Is this the lowest spread Alabama’s had in their history? It might be. I haven’t done any research cause I’m not a nerd, but I think it might be. You take the points here.

Final Score: Alabama 45, Texas A&M 17

(25) Cincinnati @ Houston: Over 51

Offense. Offense. Offense. I’m actually offended by this line. This game might go over three digits.

Final Score: Houston 42, Cincinnati 38

Iowa State @ West Virginia: Over 54

See description for pick #3. Also, did you see what West Virginia and Iowa State’s offenses were able to drum up last week against their opponents? Yeah. Over.

Final Score: West Virginia 34, Iowa State 21

USC @ (9) Notre Dame: Notre Dame -10.5

I actually really like the direction USC is going in. They’ll probably hire Urban Myer next season and be another power house. But that’s for future USC. Current USC is going to get spanked prime time by the Catholics. Irish by a billion (but only 14)

Final Score: Notre Dame 38, USC 24

Running Record: (17-11-2)
