The Degenerate Digest v.110

Live look at me taking the dog out this morning...

There is something warming about this time of year when the ol’ nutsack gets tighter than the lid to the jelly jar. That warmth comes from my picks. 14-5 the last three weeks. As the season goes on, the weather may get colder, but we get warmer. We know who’s who, we know what’s what. All leading up to this, the last week of the regular season - Rivalry Week. Similarly to the temperature’s outside, the feelings opponents have this week for one another are cold. Cold hearts set fire to great battles. We know who’s who, we know what’s what. Grab a blanket and call your bookie, let’s stay warm.

(2) Ohio State @ (3) Michigan: Under 46.5

Some people are calling this the biggest game in college football history. Two huge rivals, for a guaranteed spot in the playoff, and likely the Big Ten Championship title. All the conspiracies and dirty deeds surrounding the off-field activity. A program forced to play without their biggest weapon, their head coach. Just a library of narratives to work off of. My narrative is this - it’s still the Big Ten. I don’t know if I agree that it's the biggest college football game of all time. Sure, I understand why it has the hype it does, but I guess I find this whole thing as being a finger pointing contest more than anything else. What I mean by that is, whoever wins this game - and I truly believe this - is still gonna get smacked at some point by either Georgia or Alabama. So while this is a big game today, it really isn’t going to matter in the end unless you’re a fan of one of these programs. As for the pick? Big Ten football is Big Ten football. Give me ‘kill the clock, pressure the QB, fail to convert 3rd downs’ football all day.

Final Score: Michigan 24, Ohio State 21

Texas A&M @ (14) LSU: LSU -13

Jayden Daniels final opportunity to spruce up his Heisman favorite resume.

Final Score: LSU 41, Texas A&M 27

(8) Alabama @ Auburn: Alabama -13

The Iron Bowl used to mean something. It hasn’t in recent years because Aurbun is bobo, and while that may still be the case, today the Iron Bowl means something. It means Alabama has to win, and has to win convincingly, for them to have any shot at getting a playoff spot. Roll god damn tide.

Final Score: Alabama 38, Auburn 17

Washington State @ (4) Washington: Washington State +15.5

This is my ‘No Choice Game of the Thanksgiving Break of the Year’ game. We have no choice. With Oregon taking it to Oregon State last night, we have to hope for a Washington flub here. Alabama needs the classic Pac-12 self-implosion. I don’t have a choice.

Final Score: Washington State 28, Washington 27

Colorado State @ Hawaii: Hawaii +5.5

Similar to the start of the season tradition of always betting on Hawaii, I think it can only be a true tradition to take the Rainbow Warriors to close the season out. It just feels right.

Final Score: Hawaii 27, Colorado State 24

With only a couple more opportunities left to hit a #PremiumMemberTickleTeaser this year, I got in the lab. DM’s are open.
