The Degenerate Digest v.67

Check out the big brain on Brad! It’s all in the charts folks. As we discussed last weekend, some smart motherfuckers out there were betting heavy on the Digest due to trends. We have gotten 1 more win each of the past 3 weeks, leading to a winning weekend to start off the month of October. We started out this season with a brief wave pick that crashed after about 3 weeks. But what if the Digest as a whole is trending towards a wave performance? I don’t make up the charts, folks...

I’m not going to declare that yet as it seems just a tad premature (again, I don’t make up the charts), but the will to take a nice ride could not be more evident. Close your eyes, look inside, let the Digest take you away.
(6) Oklahoma @ (21) Texas: Oklahoma -3.5
Everyone and their mother has been shitting on Oklahoma the past couple of weeks. Their fans were even calling for the Heisman hopeful Spencer Rattler to be benched. I’ll level with you, I haven’t been very high on Oklahoma nor have I paid much attention to them thus far this season. But when I went to preview this game, I near half expected the Sooners to have a .500 record with the amount of shit talk that was hitting the airwaves and social media of late. Ummm, they’re 5-0? What the fuck do people want? Wins are wins and when you’re winning it’s by at least 1 point. This spread is only a couple points higher than that so just like hockey, you gotta ride the hot hand. Even if it is the Red River Rivalry being played at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. Everybody just chill the fuck out about Oklahoma, I honestly feel bad for them. I hope they win this game by 50 just to give a middle finger to their fans instead of the unholy horns down to Texas.
Final Score: Oklahoma 38, Texas 34
(11) Michigan State @ Rutgers: Rutgers +4.5
Sprinkle the moneyline here ladies and gents. I love the Scarlet Knights today. Michigan State, while undefeated, hasn’t played with a barbie doll this season. Their biggest win arguably was an OT victory at home against Nebraska. If there’s anything I know about Greg Shiano and his dudes, it’s that they fight. Especially after big losses (shalacking by Ohio State last weekend). They’re going to come into this game and do everything they can to win - and I simply cannot say the same about the Spartans.
Final Score: Rutgers 21, Michigan State 17
(2) Georgia @ (18) Auburn: Georgia -14.5
Umm.. what? Okay sure you can tell me classic SEC match-ups home teams get an advantage. But I mean come on. We just had this same story line basically play out before our eyes with Arkansas. ‘Oh don’t sleep on Arkansas, they show up in big games, I don’t care if it’s Georgia that’s too many points’. Bo Nix might be the worst big game QB in college football, this spread could not be more disrespectful to the Bulldogs. Sniff sniff.. Or in this case snort snort (bulldogs, folks), I think I smell a wave coming.
Final Score: Georgia 42, Auburn 21
(4) Penn State @ (3) Iowa: Penn State +2.5
This game could truly go either way, it is by far one of the best match-ups of the season thus far. I’ll be honest, I’m selfishly going with Penn State here only because the Digest has been so high on them this season. If the Nittany Lions want to fulfill their destiny of hopes for a Big Ten Championship and a playoff entry, they need to control that destiny in Kinnick Stadium today.
Final Score: Penn State 27, Iowa 24
(1) Alabama @ Texas A&M: Alabama -17.5
Another disrespectful line. The Aggies stink, Roll Damn Tide.
Final Score: Alabama 45, Texas A&M 24
Rolling Record: (108-88-3)
