You can’t be more wrong than I was last week. I shouldn’t say I was dead wrong, but I was without a doubt wrong. I would call it a doctor's visit where they’re concerned about your blood pressure wrong. Not dead wrong, but wrong enough to make the nurse consider calling an ambulance wrong.
I was distraught with my picks. So distraught that I haven’t bet a single thing since. Not the remaining bowl games, no basketball games, nothing. Not a single thing. I needed to take the first week of 2023 and reflect on how we ended 2022. Conclusion: not great. But that was so last year. So what? We took one hit to the chin. When we get knocked down, we get up again. And we’re doing so with the final game of the year.
(3) TCU @ (1) Georgia: 1st Half O31.5, 1st Half TCU +7.5, Georgia -13.5
I want to remind everyone here that we have a Georgia future from wayyyy back in early September to win the Natty @ +220. I could be a simp and just hedge with TCU ML, but that seems like the lame way to go about it. I think the Horned Frogs actually have a chance tonight. They have that team of destiny feel to them. And if Ohio State could do what they did to Georgia, and TCU did what they did to Michigan - it might be closer than people (myself included) are expecting. Final score should reflect a blowout, but I expect TCU to bring everything they have in the first half - hence the 1st half over and spread. But Georgia should run away with this in the end. All the Bulldogs need to do is control the line of scrimmage and get to Max Duggan. Don’t let him open up the defense, if he does you’re in trouble.
Let the Cinderella story come to a close, and enjoy watching the first repeat in a decade. Go Dawgs.
Final Score: Georgia 42, TCU 27
Running Record: (194-165-7)
